Pakistan exports exceed Rs. 20bn target

ISLAMABAD: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) President Haji Ghulam Ali said on Wednesday that business community has played its role in achieving exports of $25 billion against the government target of $20 billion despite economic challenges.

Senator Haji Ghulam Ali assured the government of the full support of federation in furthering the national economy for the socio-economic development of the country and welfare of its people.

Pakistan exported bagpipes and related musical instruments to the tune of $6.8 million in 2010 as compared to US$5.1 million dollars in 2009
