Karachi: Goodnews.pk, Pakistan’s premier site for positive news, has been nominated for the “Best Agent of Change Award” in the Pakistan Blog Awards 2011.

In 2010 CIO Pakistan, IDG got together with Google Pakistan and produced the First Annual Pakistan Blog Awards highlighting and showcasing entities from the new media space who have helped put Pakistan on the global blogosphere and continue to do so.

The goal was to bring together the brand ambassadors of Pakistan to the blogosphere and honor them the same way they honor Pakistan by representing it. Goodnews.pk was a natural contender for this category considering that in two years, it has become known locally and globally as the source of amazing and inspirational news coming out of Pakistan.
