World Summit Youth Award recognizes Pakistani talent

A female Pakistani student has brought laurels to the country as her project has been recognised by World Summit Youth Award (WSYA) Contest 2011.

The project, the Voice of Youth (tVoY), established by Momal Mushtaq, a student of National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), has been selected as runner-up of the WSYA 2011 in the category Create your Culture!

The tVoY’s objectives portraying a positive image of Pakistan to the world, and lend youth a voice to express their ideas, opinions and aspirations for themselves and their community and help groom youth’s perspective by presenting many views on popular social issues, thus garnering acceptance, tolerance and broad-mindedness in them.

Ms Momal has been invited by WSYA to take part in the Winners’ Events 2011 scheduled to be held from November 10th to 13th in Graz, Austria.
