Ismail Mohammed, who grew up in Pakistan and now resides in Greenfield Park, is a retired CBC accountant who suggested to sponsor the annual Christmas Eve supper at the Old Brewery Mission in Montreal, Canada.
It was in a spirit of giving that fellow members of his South Shore mosque contributed $2,000 and spent two hours serving Christmas Eve supper to more than 300 people.
